Learn to distinguish between self and truth. Self is the cause of selfishness and the source of evil; truth cleaves to no self; it is universal, and leads to justice and goodness.

In the beginning there was no thing. All was but void. There was darkness all about, and eternal emptiness. There was a great noise within the Void, and the first light was there. There was no man or beast to see that first great light, and no ears to hear the great noises that were made. The earth was made out of that turmoil, and she entered her existence, as do all things, with much noise. Dust that was there in the darkness, was brought together with a great force and great heat. And so was the earth made.

Also was made in the same way the sun, the moon and the stars. So was the universe formed as one universe. There was great heat, and as the heat was cooled, there came water upon the face of the new earth. From the waters came life. And the earth was made to turn about the sun, and so was day and night divided by the turning of it.

The light gave force to the living things so that they grew. And one thing grew from another; and yet did more things and beings form one from the other. And some things died and gave life to other things in that dying, as it was then and shall always be. The sun drew up the waters of the great seas, and let them down again as rain: and the rains watered the living things so that they coludest live. And it was good.

“He whose wickedness is very great brings himself down to that state where his enemy wishes him to be. He himself is his greatest enemy. Thus a creeper destroys the life of a tree on which it finds support.”

“A hater may do great harm to a hater, or an enemy to an enemy, but a wrongly-directed mind will do greater mischief unto itself. A mother, a father, or any other relative will do much good, but a well-directed mind will do greater service unto itself.”

“To the evildoer, wrong appears sweet as honey; he looks upon it as pleasant so long as it bears no fruit, but when its fruit ripens, then he looks upon it as wrong; he shall then reap a bitter harvest.

“And so the good man looks upon the goodness of The Way as no burden and no evil so long as it bears no fruit; and when its fruit ripens, then he still sees its goodness, for it is nothing else. The harvest shall be sweet and bountiful.

 

Keep you away from all that is not born of knowledge and that which can not be proved beyond doubt.

Keep away from all that makes no sense.

Keep away from that which does not demonstrate itself to have honest value.

Keep away from all that which has not reason.

Live by the certainties of knowledge and search for more knowledge, for it shall be your greatest wealth, and will sustain you and your children and your children's children for all time. To do other will condemn you to live in fantasy and ignore your own reality, which shall bring only death onto you in the fullness of time.

Truths are what the heavens and the earth contain, and they are there for all to witness, who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

The source of all things is in The Way, for it contains wisdom. It is a treasure for the good, and a refuge for all in need. Whilst praise can buy titles, good deeds gain respect.

Men shall live in belief alone, and will be dead as if it were not born, beneath the weight of belief in that which has no reason and cannot be sustained under reason's light. But they shall claim dominion over all, down to the smallest thing, as though the followers of false belief alone, and only they, have any purpose; and all else shall be considered unworthy of existence in that time.

And so shall the earth be laid to waste. Her goodness will not be harvested in sustaining manner. This will be man’s greatest time, but he will see it not and his greatest moment will pass him by and be lost to him. And he shall show no reason.
