Way thought for the day 21.7.2011 – The Little Children

Then were there brought unto him little children, so that he should put his hands on them; and the disciples rebuked them, for he tired. But Jesus said, “Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me nor to him that shall come after me; for of such shall be the foundations of the paradise that the Seventh shall show onto thee.” And he laid his hands on them, and held them to him, and departed thence.

And, behold, one came and said unto him, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that my blood may have the paradise to come, and know eternal life?”
And he said unto him, “Why callest thou me good? There is none good: but if thou wilt enter into the life of The Way, then keep the laws of the Covenant, and its laws, which are the same, for it is one.”
The young man saith unto him, “All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?”
Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell all that thou hast, and give to the coffers that are set by me for the Purpose, and thy blood shalt have treasure in the paradise to come. And when thou hast done this, then come and follow me; and bid thy blood that shall come after them eighty generation hence, to follow him that is yet to come at the ending of man's days, that they mayest do no harm.”
But when the young man heard that saying he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions, and he felt not the breath of death upon his neck, as it was far hence from his time.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, “Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the paradise to come. And again I say unto you, it will be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle in his time, than for a rich man to enter into the Covenant of The Way; for in his time there shall be great riches in money and a great poverty in reason. And both the stupid and the unreasoning shall see not any difference between, for they shall be but as hungered beasts at the trough.”
When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, “Who then shall be saved?

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, “With men this is impossible; but with the Force of the Earth and with him that shall follow after me, all things are possible.”
